As we have mentioned, Colin is on a heartrate monitor to record any possible apnea episodes he may be having. He has 2 lead wires on his chest attached to the monitor. The only issue arises when he performs all his stretches during his sleep...it moves the leads, which sets off a false alarm on the monitor. The alarm is akin to a smoke alarm sound - it will rattle you from the deepest slumber...unless you are a preemie 3 weeks old. Colin continued to sleep peacefully through 6 alarms in 3 minutes.
