Mother's Day

Mother's Day was a beautiful event this year!  It  began with a surprise from Colin...he got on his balance bike independently and was eager to ride it.

With his helmet on, he was already learning to maneuver his bike in tight spaces!

After church, we met Nanay (Lola) and Lolo at a Chinese restaurant for lunch.  Colin was getting the hang of chopsticks.

A laugh on her lap makes for a very happy grandmother on Mother's Day

Next we headed to the park to ride the carousel.  Colin was happy to sit on the bench, as long as he could ride the carousel with Mommy.  :)

We had to wait a while to ride the train, but it was well worth the wait!

We headed home and ended up at Shirlington, where Colin played at a water fountain before dinner.

Not a classy way to end the day, but 100% fun just the same!  What a wonderful day!
