We were lucky enough to head to Florida on St. Patrick's Day this year! We enjoyed the ocean, the sand, and especially the perfect weather at St. Pete Beach for a few days!

The sand shovel was Colin's favorite sand toy, by far. (Notice how the shovel remains in his hand while holding his cup to drink.)
Running around on the beach, chasing the birds was also a favorite activity of his
Colin is saying, "Brrrrr!" Admittedly, the water was cold in the early part of the day.
"Daddy. Ocean."Translation: "Don't make me go in there...it's cold!"
Colin found lots of friends on the beach each day to play with! These friends had his absolute favorite toy: trucks!
"I wonder how I can convince my new friend to give me that shovel?"
Colin is so friendly, he would make himself comfortable on anyone's cabana. 
"I love the beach!"
"Wait for me Daddy!"
Colin was very helpful carrying his toys onto the beach each day.
Good thing that hat has velcro straps....
Taking a rest from some fun in the sun
Colin delighted in sitting in a little hole we dug out for him with a bucket of water and a few toys. We sat by the ocean, to replenish his bucket as often as needed.

A playscape at an airport? What a godsend! This should be required at all airports!
Whew! What a wonderful trip!
